As more organisations begin measuring the carbon impact of their products, many face the same challenges: where to start, and how to ensure calculations are done consistently and correctly.
FAAS-members developed a template to address exactly that : guiding users step by step through the full process, helping companies build a solid and credible approach from the ground up. This template does not pretend to calculate your Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) values for you, but makes the PCF process more intuitive.
With this initiative, we aim to:
• Lower the threshold for companies starting with PCF calculations
• Improve the comparability of PCF data shared across the value chain
• Provide a sector-recognised reference to share with your suppliers
We believe that greater alignment benefits everyone by improving transparency, trust, and ultimately accelerating the transition to more sustainable products.
