FAAS Working Group 5 on ESG communication & reporting identified an issue with the company-level Sustainability Surveys that are prevalent throughout the aftermarket supply chain. These surveys vary in scope, depth, required evidence and signing authority, while leaving no room for feedback. This results in a large workload for data suppliers and little constructive dialogue taking place to improve sustainability performance.
Working Group 5 is committed to developing a harmonised solution to reduce the workload and improve the dialogue between suppliers and clients to improve the sustainability of the supply chain. To achieve these goals, the Working Group commits to establishing a common sustainability survey and requests proposals for the technical development of a common data exchange environment.
Below, you can find the full request for proposal. The request is divided into two sections, allowing respondents to propose their Sustainability Survey, their data exchange environment, or both.
